Certified Medical Assistant Actively participates as a focused member of a Patient Care Team under the direct supervision of the Clinical Floor Manager coordinating patient care following established standards and practices.

Duties include vitals, histories, patient education about procedures/medications, assisting Physicians and PA's, and administering Physician and PA instructions and serves as the liaison between patients, Physician, other practice departments, and other health care providing entities.

The home base for this position is determined at hire, however, travel between locations of Hickory, Morganton, Lenoir, and Lincolnton for training and as needed with paid mileage is expected.

If the candidate is not a CMA or CCMA, the candidate may qualify for education support to obtain licensure through the Practice.

Candidate will learn all aspects of clinic and assisting to allow for growth opportunities and to provide departmental support.
